  • 2009

Gamma completes the transition to ISO 9001:2008 certification. Gamma supports Avocent at the CRN Fight Night. Gamma opens operations at Madrid in Spain. Gamma opens operations at Warsaw in Poland. Gamma staff supports Comic Relief and raises £1,000 for the charity.

  • 2008

Gamma partners with Rittal to become their sole UK Distributor.

Gamma renews its Investors in Poeple certification. Gamma switches banks from RBS to HBOS to provide better transactional handling and faster response times enabling a more efficient service to our clients . Gamma re-locates London operations to cater for a growing team of sales & purchasing in that region. Gamma turns over £58,000,000 with 59 staff Gamma sells to 1,204 unique customers across 39 countries

- Britain officially enter the ‘Great Recession’

- Barack Obama becomes the first African American President of the United States of America

- The first Blu-Ray Disc titles are introduced

Gamma maintains its UKAS ISO 9001 : 2000 and Investors In people Certisication. Gamma commences making use of offsite warehousing to cater for the over-flowing stock making up its £6 Million worth of inventory. Gamma establishes operations at Milan in Italy.

Now with 58 staff across 5 operations, Gamma turns over £51,000,000. Gamma sells to 1,061 unique customers across 43 countries.

- Gordon Brown replaces Tony Blair as the prime minister of Great Britain

Gamma goes global and announces goal to reach the £100M mark. Andy Bridden, Gamma Global’s newly appointed Finance Director leads a second Management Buy Out.

Gamma turns over £47,000,000 with 56 staf Gamma sells to 823 unique customers across 42 countrie

- Pope John Paul II Dies and Benedict XVI becomes the next Pope

Gamma re-structures its warehouse to enable increased stocking and a more efficient picking process. Gamma relocates Birmingham operations to cater for a growing team in sales & purchasing.

Gamma turns over £43,000,000 with 46 staff & sells to 437 unique customers across 26 countries.

- The United Kingdom celebrates the 50th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II - Lord of the Rings: Return of the King won a record 11 out of 11 Oscars

- Arnold Schwarzenegger is elected as Governor of California

Gamma Global becomes an ISO 9001:2000 registered company. Gamma commences a new £150,000 IT infrastructure roll-out.

Gamma acquires adjacent premises to improve efficiency in stock and delivery turnaround. Gamma Global is re-branded to create more awareness throughout the reseller market. Management buy out by Managing Director, Martin Smith.

Gamma increases staff numbers to 46 and turns over £42,000,000 - an impressive 53% growth.

Gamma sells to 326 unique customers across 21 countries.

- The Queen Mother dies peacefully in her sleep at the age of 101

- England get the quarter finals of the world cup, losing out to the Champions, Brazil

Steve Lee entered for Entrepreneur of The Year awards and is a semi-finalist. Martin Smith is brought into the company as Managing Director to take Gamma Global forward into success. Gamma increases staff numbers to 43 and turns over £30,000,000.

- Terrorists attack the Twin Towers and the Pentagon in New York, killing nearly 3,000 people, now famously know as 9/11
